Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson was born in Mexico into a family that included musicians. She spent most of her childhood listening to classic music and boleros of the past, ranchero traditional or romantic music, as well older classical songs. Ana loves Tangos. She also loves operas and any form dramatic performance. At the age 16, she began to sing and study music with her mum. Flavio, a Mexican famous tenor, started to provide her with more intense training in singing. Her music training continued in the School of Music of Guadalajara University. Then, she enrolled in an institution called the School of Sacred Music of Toluca. In Guadalajara and Mexico City, she was a member of many chamber and opera choirs. She sang in the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus in the United States before moving to the southern part of California. She is currently performing classic Latin American songs at private events as a soloist. Alongside being an instructor and performer in the local area the passion for arts and music keeps her engaged in a wide range of initiatives. Ana was also an active member of the Community Chorus of Redlands as in addition to members of the Inland Master Chorale and Performance Loft. Ana is thankful for the opportunity to share her love and enthusiasm for old-fashioned Latin American songs with others and, in the process hopes to instill a sense of, especially among younger generations to keep this tradition alive.Viva Mexico!
