MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The Latin popular music scene is influenced through his worldwide popularity. The 2016 smash Una Lady Como Tu was the winner of a Colombian Kids Choice Award for Most Popular Song in 2017. His debut album ADN was released in 2017 by La Industria Inc., a Medellin-based Sony distribution firm. It peaked at number eight in the Top Latin Albums chart. In the following year, he teamed up with Ozuna to record Vaina Loca that climbed to number five on the chart of Top Latin Albums. The group released Dopamina, his chart-topping sophomore album in the years following. Then, in 2021 he sang a duet in 2021 along with TINI in her smash hit Maldita Foto. 2000 also saw the huge record La Bachata appeared in 2023. Turizo is from a musical background, both his parents and brother are also musicians. In his interviews, Turizo has said that music is essential. He began playing guitar, saxophone Ukulele, and piano while when he was a child. Although his first career choice was to be an animal veterinarian but his brother Julian encouraged him to start taking singing lessons from an instructor in Cuban. The lessons revolutionized his entire life.
