Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri dixit is famous Indian actress who is famous for her roles in Hum Aapke Hain Koun. She started her career in early 1980s. Her character in the role of Anil Kapoor in the film Tezaab made her hugely popular. Her next film was the film Dil where she shared the screen with Aamir Khan. In Mumbai her home, she grew up in a family of middle-class parents. At a very young age, she started to take dance lessons. She began acting when she was a youngster and struggled through a couple of years since the majority of her first films failed. Her fame grew and she became one of the top film actors. Her marriage led to a hiatus from her acting career. Later, she returned. In the last few years, Dixit was a key player on Gulaab Gang a movie about the struggle of Indian women. Dixit was nominated 15 times to win Filmfare Awards. She won 8 of them. Padma Shri was awarded to Dixit, the fourth most prestigious civil award in India. Her reputation also includes as a social activist.
